Vickie’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to her physicians and to the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice of Acadiana, especially her nurses, Carla, Cheryl and Kathleen, for all of the wonderful care, attention and love that they brought to her while caring for her.

Vickie recently attained and celebrated “five years cancer free” status, after a battle with breast cancer in 2010. She was a member of the St. Theresa Gospel Choir for over twenty years, where she played her tambourine and sang like a beautiful bird. Vickie also enjoyed listening and dancing to Cajun and zydeco music, and she loved spending quality time with her family and friends. Everyone who met her loved her many hilarious moments and her beautiful and contagious smile…she will surely be missed by all!
