Patricia Ann Thomason, 81, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015, at Warsaw Health and Rehab Center.

She was born September 6, 1933, in Sedalia, a daughter of Boyd Ross and Emily Clara Lowrey Carver.

On August 9, 1951, in Houstonia, she was married to Floyd Thomason, Jr., who survives.

Mrs. Thomason was a member of Maplewood Church. She enjoyed going to church and went regularly until her health failed. She was a prayer warrior.

She was a homemaker and loved having family dinners and get togethers with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cooking and baking them their favorite foods. She enjoyed her grandchildren so very much. She enjoyed camping trips to Bennett Spring State Park, and going to horse shows with her husband, Floyd, and youngest daughter, Becky Bisbee.

In addition to her husband, surviving are five children: Debbie Bloess (Randy), of Warsaw, John Thomason (Pam), of Des Moines, Iowa, Mark Thomason (Shawn), of Green Ridge, Stephen Thomason (Jody), of Blue Springs, and Becky Bisbee (Billy), of Benton, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Warren and Betty Smith.

Graveside services and burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Eddie Brown and Mr. P.C. Thomas officiating.

Casket bearers will be Derek Thomason, Jaden Thomason, Mason Bisbee, Walker Bisbee, Brian Bloess and Ross Hall.

Honorary bearers will be Terry Smith, Pete Warren, Mike Mallory, Boyd Massey and Mike Smith.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Heckart Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Maplewood Church, or the Cedar Hill Scholarship in care of the Sedalia School District Foundation.
