Mrs. Oscar K. Fiedler, 86, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 1975, at 8:46 p.m., in Brown Nursing Home where she had been a patient for five weeks.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel at Schaetter Funeral Home, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Harper, with the Rev. A. A. Gittter officiating. Interment followed in St. Anthony Cemetery. A rosary was recited Monday, at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Mrs. Fiedler was the former Helen Keller. She was born Oct. 15, 1888, in Gillespie County, the daughter of Charles Keller and Reinholdina Reeh Keller. She married Oscar K. Fiedler July 1, 1912, in Harper, and he preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1970.
Survivors include two sisters, Olga, Mrs. Hilmar Mosel of Fredericksburg; and May Dora, Mrs. Richard Roeder of Harper.
Pallbearers for final rites were Roman Mosel, Wesley Sageser, Francis Klier, Leo Kuentz Jr., Amos Horn Jr., and Wesley Sageser II.
