Death Claims Nathan Moody, Auditor's Deputy Dies in Hospital.
Excerpts:
Nathan M. Moody, 75, chief deputy city auditor since 1939 and an employee of the auditor's office for 33 years, died Sunday morning in a local hospital after an illness of several weeks.
Mr. Moody was born in Molalla, Or., on June 11, 1868. His father, Henry Clay Moody, was an Oregon pioneer, coming here in 1848.
Moody is survived by the widow, Susan F., and three children; H. S. Moody, who has been in the Navy since 1917; Mrs. E. H. Lorence of Eugene, and William N. Moody of Portland. The family home is at 135 N.E. Going street.
