Miss Sophie W. Heimann, 87, of 1325 N. Eighth st., Manitowoc, died Saturday
morning, July 14, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church,
Town of Newton. The Rev. Robert D. Stuebbe will officiate and burial will be
in the church cemetery.
Miss Heimann was born March 8, 1897, in the Town of Newton, Manitowoc County,
daughter of the late Wilhelm and Dorothea Stockmeier Heimann. She grew up in
the Town of Newton and was educated in Town of Newton Schools. Miss Heimann
resided in Newton until 1943 and has been a Manitowoc resident since that
time. She was a member of Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church and Manitowoc Senior
Citizens.
Survivors include relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister,
Selma.
Friends may call at Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, after 11 a.m. Tuesday. There
will be no visitation at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Living Memorial Fund of Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church.
