Ginger Lynette Brown, 62, of Kokomo, passed away at 8:43p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Community Howard Regional Hospital, Kokomo.

Ginger was born in Charleston, South Carolina on February 1, 1953 to Ira (Winnie) and Helen Beatrice (Smith) Wampler. Ginger graduated from Bloomington South High School in 1970, and worked at Stone Belt. She enjoyed socializing, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

Ginger is survived by her husband, Walter “Sonny” Brown of Kokomo; mother, Helen Beatrice (Smith) Brown of Bloomington; children, Walter “Buddy”, (wife Polly) Brown Jr., Eric Werczynski, Mark (wife Katy) Werczynski, Angie Brown; grandchildren, Kaylee Martin, Michael Martin, Baylee and Zachary Tigrett, Elyssa, Dalton, Abigail Christensen, Ashley Wiman, Ryin Roland, Jake, Kamren and Sam Werczynski; great grandchildren, Olivia and Logan Martin, Cashis and Joslin Roland; brother, Tony Wampler, and aunt’s, Shelby Kaiser and Kimberly Goad.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ira (Winnie) Wampler, and daughter in-law, Mary Brown.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster Street. Burial will be at Crown Point Cemetery in Kokomo.

Family and friends may call from 10:00am to 12:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
