Harold was born September 5, 1934 in Mt. Pulaski to Harold A. and Loise E. Irwin Tendick Sr. He married Wanda Meister on July 26, 1959 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Mt Pulaski. She survives.
Also surviving are his sons, Steven (Jenny) Tendick and Gary Tendick; two grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanor Woodyard and Lorene Stoll and one brother, Edwin (Carolyn) Tendick.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, George Woodyard and Edwin Stoll.
Harold attended Mt. Pulaski Schools and after graduating from high school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving from 1955-57. He served most of his tour of duty on the USS Lexington.
After returning home from service, Harold farmed for 45 years.
