He was the son of Frank and Rosa (Mueller) Grieshop.
Surviving are five brothers: Louis (Mary Ann), Versailles, Linus (Jane), Minster, Robert (Judith) and Jerome (Madonna), both Yorkshire, and Frank C. (Jean), Russia; six sisters: Betty Lange, St. Henry, Mary Ann (Carl) Pohl, Maria Stein, Martha (Edward) Schroeder, Anna, Florence Wenning, Springboro, Jane (Nicholas) Varney, Homer, AK, and Nancy Grieshop, Kettering; and special friend and care giver, Dianne Bair, Piqua.
Deceased are two brothers-in-law, Alfred Lange and Robert Wenning; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Grieshop.
Serving in the US Army, he had been stationed in Germany following the Korean War. He retired in 1996 from the Stolle Corporation, Sidney, after 40 years. He had also been engaged in farming all of his working life. He attended St. Nicholas Catholic Church and was also a member of the Stetsons Traveling Squares of Troy. An avid AC tractor fan; he also loved square dancing, camping trips, garage sales, and visiting with family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Nicholas Church, Osgood, with Rev. David L. Zink presiding. Burial will follow at St. Martin Cemetery with military honors by the Osgood Legion Firing Squad.
