Mona Jones age 91 of Bronston, KY went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday June 8, 2015 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.
She was born on August 30, 1923 in Delta, KY to the late John and Lila Mary Morrow Dalton.
Mona was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Delta, KY. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing the guitar, canning and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lila Mary Dalton; her husband, Lewie Jones, one son, Billy Jones, two brothers, Hurstle Dalton and Ernest Dalton and four sisters, Oscha Branscum, Ina New, Dovie Dalton and Maudie Dalton.
She is survived by three sons, Fines Jones of Delta, KY, Doyle Jones of Oberlin, OH and Dallas (Sharon) Jones of Wakeman, OH; one daughter, Iva (John) Yakunovich of Kipton, OH, eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 12, 2015 after 10 AM in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 12, 2015 at 12 PM in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse officiating.
Burial will follow in the Silas Morrow Cemetery.
