Andrew Joseph Plowman, age 15, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Sparta, WI.

He was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on October 28, 1999. Andrew was adopted into the Paul and Robin Plowman family on Nov 12, 2001, where he was greatly loved by his new parents and his seven siblings.

Andy was a bright and adventurous young man with a deep love of the outdoors and fishing. He loved to skateboard and was always the risk-taker in the crowd. His ability to draw free hand and copy any photo he liked showed he had a keen eye for detail. It showed up in all of his little projects scattered around his room. His life goal was to follow in his older brother Jon's footsteps and join the U.S. Navy, and possibly become a Navy Seal.

During his short life he experienced many things most people would never see, and through it all was deeply loved by his family. As a young boy he received the saving grace Of God through Jesus Christ. Baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Spirit, by the Grace of God we have a blessed assurance that he shares heaven with loved ones who have gone on before him.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Robin Plowman, 7 siblings, James (Erica), David, Jon (Amber), Rachel, Jacob, Jesse, Thomas Plowman, grandparents, Shirley Plowman Wagner (Rodger) and Beverly Fischer, many aunts and uncles and first and second cousins.

Andy was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John M. Plowman and Carl E. Fischer.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, 2015, 1 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home, 2224 Superior Ave, Tomah, Wisconsin. The officiating minister will be Rev Rufus Parker, Senior Pastor Calvary Apostolic Church La Crosse WI. Family and friends are invited for visitation Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the Torkelson Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah, WI.
