Services were held Friday for Elgin Esquell, 67, who passed away Sept. 18 at his residence in Harper. Following services in St. Anthony's Catholic Church , interment followed in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Harper.
Esquell was a farmer and rancher and was a lifetime resident of Harper. He was a World War II Army veteran and a Roman Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Esquell of Harper; three sons, Leslie Esquell of Harper, Herschell Esquell of Austin and Larry Esquell of Stephenville; one daughter, Cathy Seller of Lexington; one brother, Joe Esquell of Harper; and one sister, Louise Heinemann of Harper.
