. Funeral services for Rodolfo “Rudy” Reyes, 51, of Lovington, NM will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Hillcrest Baptist Church at 10:00 am with Arthur Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Rudy was born February 12, 1964 in Denver City, TX to Albino and Oralia (Guzman) Reyes and passed away in Dallas, TX on June 5, 2015. He grew up in Lovington and graduated in 1982. He attended NMJC and Univ. of Phoenix. Rudy married Debra Tafoya in Lovington on July 15, 1989 and they have shared 26 years together. He was employed by Elite Home Health for nine years. He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, going to the mountains and playing video games and basketball with his son, Josh. He enjoyed the nephews and nieces and all his friends. He loved his quiet time to pray and refresh himself with God. Rudy was known as “Tio” to many and was an inspiration to young couples, the person to go to that would listen and then check on you to see how you were and his faithfulness to God’s people in his ministering was total. He was the biggest example of “TRUE LOVE” ever seen. He was preceded in death by his mother: Oralia Reyes and is survived by his wife, Debra Reyes of Lovington; one son: Joshua David Reyes of Lovington; his Father, Albino Reyes of Lovington; one brother: Frankie Reyes of Lovington and one sister: Nancy and husband Javier Gonzalez of Lovington. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from noon until 8:00 pm at the funeral home
