Angeline was born in Mount Pisgah, Iowa
Mount Pisgah was a semi-permanent settlement or way station from 1846 to 1852 along the Mormon Trail between Garden Grove and Council Bluffs. It is located near the small community of Thayer in Jones Township, Union County, Iowa. This site is now part of the Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail. It is the birthplace of Helaman Pratt. The address of the memorial is 1704 Mount Pisgah Road in Thayer.

JANUARY 8, 1925 TIMES INDEPENDENT
"GRANDMA" BURR DIES FOLLOWING BRIEF ILLNESS
Mrs. Angeline Burr, aged Moab lady passed away late this evening at the home of her daugher, Mrs. F A Kirby. Mrs. Burrhad been ill for about six weeks. Recently she suffered a stroke of paralysis, since which time hopes for her recovery had been abandoned due to her advanced age.
Funeral services will be held at Moab Saturday moring, and interment will take place at Monticello Where her husband, the late John A Burr, is buried.
Mrs. Burr was the mother of Mrs. F A Kirby and Les Burr of Moab and Charles A Burr of Monticello, all of whom were at the bedside when death came.

PIONEER WOMAN LAID TO REST AT MONTICELLO
"Grandma" Burr was 76 yrs. of age, and had resided in southeastern Utah for about thiry years, most of which time was spent in San Juan County.. She had made her home at Moab since the death of her husand twelve years ago. The daughter of Alvey and Julette Ames Hancock. The father died shortly before her birth, and the mother with her six children, came to Utah with a company of Morman emigants crossing the plains. Reaching Salt Lake in 1849, they moved to Payson, where Angeline married John Atlantic Burr. She had seven children, four of whom survive: Charles A Burr, Albert Burr of Springville, Lester Burr, and Mrs. Stella Kirby.
