Marilyn Ruth (Porter) Ferguson of Danville died Sunday. She was 80.
Born Oct. 27, 1934, in Indianola, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Elbert and Edna (Chambers) Porter. She married James L. Ferguson on Sept. 28, 1956, and he survives.
Mrs. Ferguson graduated from Hartford High School in Hartford, Iowa. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Clayton Christian church and was active in the Women’s Bible Study there. She also belonged to the Red Hat Society of Hendricks County.
Additional survivors include sons Jeffery Lewis Ferguson and wife Ellen and Neal J. Ferguson and wife Robin, all of Danville; granddaughters Kira, Kassie and Tara; great-grandson Gavin; and sisters Helen Lester of Denver, Colo., and Sandra Hammon of Hartford.
Preceding her in death were a grandson, Michael, and two sisters.
