Cpl. Jeremy S. Jones of Omaha, Nebraska graduated from Millard West High School in 1999, where he played football and wrestled. He married his high school sweetheart in 2003, shortly before he joined the Army. He was considered a bad boy in high school, and every girl loves a bad boy, but he was also a kind-hearted, generous soul who was always a kid at heart. He loved kids, and every time there would be a party or a family get-together, he would hang out with the kids. He would always want to play video games and befriend all of them. He made up his own mind, and it suited him. He was the type of guy that needed the stability in the service, the friends he made there, the support group that it provided. He wanted to better himself and support his family, hoping to make a career, re-enlisting in April 2006 for another six years. In addition to his wife, Jenny and daughter, Mackenzie, he is survived by his son, Anthony, 3; his mother, Diane Jones of Omaha; father, Scott Jones of Council Bluffs; and sister, Abbi Jones, 23, of Omaha. He was 25.
