Major League Baseball Player. He played five seasons in the major leagues as a pitcher with the Philadelphia Athletics, Boston Braves, Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies. He made his major league appearance on June 27, 1933. Barrett appeared in 141 games during his major league career compiling a record of 35 wins and 58 losses. Rosary for Tracy S. Barrett, 60, of 118 Tenth Av. S., Kewpie Dick of the old Seattle Rainiers, will be said at 6:45 o'clock this evening in the Bonney-Watson Broadway chapel. He died Monday at his home.
Requiem Mass will be said at 9 o'clock tomorrow at St. James' Cathedral, with burial in Holyrood.
Mr. Barrett, a native of Montoursville, Pa., came here 30 years ago. He attended the University of Illinois and was a member of Psi Upsilon Fraternity.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; a son, Donald Barrett, Yakima; three daughters, Sister Mary Dennis, C.S.J., Seattle, Mrs. Melvin Joy, Yakima, and Mrs. John McEntee, Petaluma, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. John Turner, Lockhaven, Pa., and two brothers, Drew, Montoursville, and Dean Barrett, Chesapeake, Ohio.
