Megan Thompson, age 42, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015. Megan was born June 2, 1972, in Denville, N.J., to Richard and Virginia Callahan. She attended Glendale Community College and then entered the U.S. Navy. She trained and worked as an air traffic controller for the Navy, FAA and the Department of Defense, something she truly enjoyed. Megan is survived by her husband, Mark Thompson; daughters, Olivia and Kate Thompson; parents, Richard and Virginia Callahan; siblings, Kathryn (Pete) Poage and Ellen Callahan; and niece, Mia Poage. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, #104, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
