Minka Williams Brown was a beautiful, free spirit. She was courageous, cheerful, strong and an awesome daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She received her education in Augusta, and she sought to serve others in the area of nursing care.

A lifetime of memories are left with her three daughters, her mom, siblings, former spouse and friends across the country. She is preceded by her father, Milton Smith. There will never be another woman like our Minka, on this side of Heaven. Always the optimist, and the life of the party, we miss you so much.

She is survived by her children Alante Ruffin, Keely Smith and Jamila Hambrick; mother, Deborah (Nathaniel) Robinson; maternal grandparents, Mary Stoney and Robert Williams; five sisters, six brothers, three grandchildren, a large extended family, hundreds of former classmates, friends and co-workers.
