Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Dreamland Cemetery with the Rev. Sherman Eastland, chaplain of Gentiva Hospice, officiating. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. in Palo Duro Retirement Village in Canyon. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.
Ina Mae Wilson has gone on to be with her family. She was born Sept. 23, 1920, in Amarillo to Ira M. and Della May Tudor Judd. She was a graduate of Amarillo High School. She married W.A. ‘Bill’ Wilson on Jan. 5, 1941, in Claude, and they moved to Canyon in 1946. She was a beautician and a homemaker and was active in the First Baptist Church in Canyon. She loved God and her family and enjoyed fishing, camping and lapidary work. She was a member of the Canyon Home Demonstration Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, JP W.A. “Bill” Wilson, in 1980, three brothers and a sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Prichard
and Vesta DeMoss and husband Rodney, all of Canyon; a son, Mike Wilson and wife Claudia of Canyon; six grandchildren, Chris DeMoss and wife Stephanie, Sherry Randolph and husband Dean, Amy DeMoss Burk, David Prichard and wife Christine, Holly McCarley and J.W. Wilson; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be to Palo Duro Retirement Village Cooperative Activity Fund, No. 9 Hospital Drive, Canyon, TX 79015 or Gentiva Hospice, 3232 Hobbs Ave., Amarillo, TX 79109.
