Mrs. Maybelle McNabb, 83, widow of James Edward McNabb of Kittanning RD 3 died at 6 a.m. Sunday (Dec. 16, 1956) following a long illness. Mrs. McNabb was born July 18, 1873 in East Franklin Township, a daughter of Henry and Catherine Walker Cornman. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church, Walk Chalk. Surviving are seven children, Miss Lola McNabb, at home; Arthur McNabb and Andrew McNabb, both of New Kensington; Robert McNabb, McKeesport; George McNabb, New Kensington; Mrs. Kathryn Niedzwicki, Erie; and John McNabb, New Kensington. Nineteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Smith funeral home until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The body may be viewed at Salem Baptist Church, Walk Chalk, from noon Wednesday until 2 o'clock, the time of service. Rev. Gilbert Heilman will conduct the service. Burial will be made in the family plot in West Glade Run Presbyterian cemetery.
