Bobby Joe “Bob” Manning, age 80, of McDonough, GA passed away Friday, June 5, 2015.
Mr. Manning was born in Armurchee, GA to Orville Duette, Sr. and Pauline Duggan Manning. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, traveling, drag racing and spending time working with the youth boys at church. Mr. Manning served in the U. S. Army. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.
Mr. Manning is survived by wife of 58 years, Naomi Manning of McDonough, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Delise Manning of McDonough, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Connie Leigh and Jeff Cassanova of Villa Rica, GA; 4 grandchildren, Justin Cassanova, Brooke Cassanova, Samuel Manning and Grayson Cassanova; brother and sister-in-law, Orville Duette “Sonny” and Joyce Manning, Jr. of Rome; sisters and brother-in-law, Jane and Tony Hastings, Sandra Davidson both of Rome; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside Services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, Rome, GA, with Rev. Sandra Morris officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, June 8, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors.
