Obituary

Frank Newton Dibrell, 81, of San Antonio, TX, was escorted from this earth April, 29th 2010, by his beloved late father, John Dancy Dibrell, in Pueblo CO. He was born on the Navajo reservation in Lukachukai, AZ on December 17th, 1928. Proud of his Navajo heritage, he enjoyed riding bulls in the late 40's and early 50's, treasured being a member of Texas A&M's Class of 1949, and retired as 1SG, B Battery, Texas Army National Guard, in Seguin, TX. He was the grandson of the late Judge Joseph B. Dibrell, and Ella Peyton Dancy Dibrell. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Barbara J. (Mickey) Dibrell. He leaves behind 2 children, 2 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 5 dogs, 2 birds, numerous friends, and a lifetime of wonderful memories. A memorial service will be held at Schertz United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 8th at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to Southwest Indian Relief Council, PO Box 16777, Mesa, AZ 85211.
