Suggested edit: Cecil Lamarr Wells, 80, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was born in Garrett, IN on November 5, 1937, the son of the late Cecil and Sarah "Betty" Wells.

Cecil worked at Navistar for a number of years, and also drove truck before he retired.

He enjoyed going to eat and have coffee while socializing with his friends in his spare time.

Surviving are his sons, Donnie (Lillie "Bick") Wells, and Duane Wells; grandchildren, Nadine (Corey) Kline and Donald "DJ" (Christine) Wells; great-grandchildren, Gage, Ethan, Sophia, Kadence, Damond, and Lyric; and great-great-grandson, Miles; brother, Robert (Penny) Wells.

He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Wells in 2007; daughter, Deborah Gillespie; and sister, Winifred Wells.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 4-8pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne IN 46805. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
