Shauna Lee Paul, 59, of Rigby, passed away at the hospital in Idaho Falls, Friday, June 5, 2015.
Shauna was born December 17, 1955, at Spanish Fork, Utah a daughter of Robert Southam and Betty Ann Schaefer Southam. She was raised in California, Utah, Alaska, and Idaho. Her family moved around following her father’s work on the railroad. She graduated from Rigby High School. She married Denis Paul, May 14th 1976 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She worked as a C.N.A., Idaho Traffic Safety, Eagle Rock Blasting and BECO Construction. She belonged to the Saturday Nights Couples Bowling League, Women’s High 5 Bowling Team and Tuesday Night Survivors League with her daughter Chrissy. She enjoyed bowling, fishing on the South Fork with Denis, swimming and sitting in hot pools, camping, and spending time with her grandson Karsun. She was an amazing woman and loved to serve others when they needed help. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and others.
Shauna is survived by her husband Denis Paul of Rigby; her daughter, Chrissy Kinney of Rigby; a stepdaughter Tiffany (Jason) Whitney of Missouri; a son Jacob Paul of Rigby; a step son Tony (Erica) Paul of Idaho Falls; a sister Debra Southam of Yelm, Washington; two brothers Mike Southam of Ririe and Glen Southam of Texas, a step-brother Walt Twomey of Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Southam, Mother Betty Twomey, 2 Brothers, David Southam and Brent Southam and a sister Sharon Butler.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 9th at 1:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
