CAMERON — Bob Allen Green, 71, of Rogers died Thursday, June 4, at his residence.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Rogers with the Rev. Will Passmore and the Rev. Dudley Watson officiating.
Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.
Mr. Green was born July 15, 1943, to Alton and Lois Green in Temple. He was a graduate of Rogers High School and attended Temple College. On July 16, 1983, he married Linda Platt Holley. He was a master electrician and was the owner of Bob Green Electric, retiring in January 2015. He was a member of the Rogers Volunteer Fire Department and served as fire chief for more than 30 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Rogers.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Bruce Holley of Salado; a stepdaughter, Denise Manning of Navarre, Fla.; a brother, the Rev. Jack Green of Victoria; two sisters, Ruth Ray of Temple and Beverley Ralston of Rogers; and four grandchildren.
Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
