His grandfather, Fred Young, of Eupora, MS; his grandmother, Ruth Summers, of Brookhaven, MS; and father-in-law, Hap Hederman, of Jackson, MS, precede him in death.
He was a 2001 honor graduate of Tupelo High School and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. At Mississippi State, he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, MSU Roadrunners, Phi Eta Sigma and Order of Omega honorary societies, and a Student Association Senator.
Tyler completed a two year Career Intern Program with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency in Washington, D.C. He was currently employed with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville as a dedicated member of the Test Planning and Design Directorate. He was the Lead Engineer in charge of the Special Programs portion of the MDA Master Test Plan.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 8, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Tupelo from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
A Celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Tupelo at 11:00 a.m. A private graveside service will follow at Parkway Memorial Park in Ridgeland, MS.
