James Arthur Brinson, 74, Goshen, Ohio, died Saturday, February 20, 1999, at Clermont Mercy Hospital, Batavia, Ohio.

He was born in Somerset, October 27, 1924, son of the late Robert and Lenora Meece Brinson. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and was a retired heavy equipment operator for Zimmer and Adler Company.

Survivors include his wife, Carneda Glover Brinson; two sons, Marvin and Richard Brinson; two daughters, Barbara Pendergrass and Judy Brinson; two brothers, Glen and Joe Brinson; and two sisters, Faye Meece and Alice Schroder.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Brinson; a daughter, Joyce Brinson; and six brothers, Albert, Ray, Ollie, Roy, Howard, and Henry Brinson.

Funeral services will be noon Tuesday at White Lily Baptist Church with Bro. Edmond VanHook officiating.

Burial will be in White Lily Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, Ohio.
