Glenn Leo Watts, 84, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2015 in Houston, TX. Glenn was born February 14, 1931 in Guthrie Center, IA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jule Marlene Watts, and by his parents, Arthur and Mildred Watts.

After graduation from Guthrie Center High School in 1948, Glenn proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After returning, he graduated from telegrapher school. He retired from railroading in 1992, after 44 years.

Glenn is survived by their five children: daughter, Diane Mangan, four sons, Patrick Watts, Michael Watts, David Watts and Joseph Watts.

He is also survived by three sisters, Marie Raygor, Marianne Vandevanter, and Adele Morgan.

Glenn was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. He especially had a smile and twinkle in his eye when he spent time with his family and friends.

On June 5, 2015, St. Angela Merici Catholic Church celebrated a funeral mass. Interment with military honors followed at the Houston National Cemetery.
