FREDERICKSBURG - Joe Edward Crenwelge, 75, died Sunday, July 19, 2009, in a local hospital. Vigil service is at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 23, in Schaetter Funeral Home chapel. Service is at 10 a.m. Friday, July 24, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with military burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann Meurer of Fredericksburg; children Wayne Edward Crenwelge of Houston, Denise Yvonne DeValck of Belgium, Kevin Dwain Crenwelge of Cibolo and Bret Anthony Crenwelge of Abilene; and brother Wilbur Crenwelge of Fredericksburg.
