Hastings resident, Harold C. Warner, 92, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare.

Services will be Monday, June 8, 2015 at 10:30 am at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Adam Sughroue officiating. Rosary will be Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 7 pm at the Apfel Funeral Home Chapel with Father Adam Sughroue officiating.

Harold was born October 26, 1922 to Charles and Alvina (Selko) Warner, in Harvard, NE. He grew up on a farm west of Harvard and received his education and graduated from the Harvard High School in 1940. He served in the United States Navy during WWII as a mechanic. After discharge he went to work for Trans World Airlines as an airplane mechanic and he lived in Kansas City, Denver, Los Angeles and Phoenix before retiring in 1978, when he moved to Hastings.

He was a member of the St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Hastings and the VFW.

He is survived by numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
