Wanda Bryant Warren
82, of Lexington, sweetly departed this life Friday, May 29, at her home after an amazing battle with cancer. A native of Denniston, KY, she was born July 20, 1932, to the late Raymond Bryant and Bernice Little Bryant. Wanda was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Frenchburg and a retired Teller for the Winchester Bank. She is survived by three sons, Gary Egelston of Lexington, Kim (Mary Lou) Warren of Winchester, and Brent (Laura) Warren of Alpharetta, GA, two daughters, Susan (Steve) Wheeler of Owenton, KY, and Melanie (Jamie) Coldiron of Lexington, six grandchildren, Arnie Egelston, Josh Wheeler, Lauren Coldiron, Elle Coldiron, Haydon Hays, and Taylor Warren, three great-grandchildren, Evey, Avram and Addison, brothers, Harold Bryant, Ival Bryant, Edward Bryant, all of Frenchburg, and Merle Bryant, two sisters, Margaret Lentz and Anita Fugate. She would also include among family, Kenny, Lisa, Tyler and Riley Jackson, with whom she shared many years and much joy. The family would also like to thank the devoted ladies who cared so lovingly for her these last months; Allyson Walson, Hope Spoonamore, Shelley Baker, Gail Faulkner, Judy Rainey, Lindsey Williams and our favorite Hospice nurses, Glenda and Alesia. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Bruce Bryant. Funeral services will be Monday, June 8, at 11a.m. with visitation an hour prior to the service at the Bethel Baptist Church, 926 Highway 36, Frenchburg, KY, with Rev. Tim Rhodes presiding. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5p-7p at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street, Winchester. Burial will be in the Ezel Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, Camp Fund, P.O. Box 141 Frenchburg, KY 40322 or to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, KY 40504.
