ELLETTSVILLE — Jerry C. Porter, 70, of Ellettsville, IN died April 16, 2015, at his home. Born June 1, 1944 in Solsberry, IN, the son of Clarence and Goldie (Ooley) Porter. Jerry was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Viet Nam. He worked at IU in the paint department as a foreman, and was also the owner of Porter Painting and Contracting. He enjoyed restoring old classic cars and making his family happy. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. Graveside services for Jerry will be Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington, IN.
