Funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Milton Nothdurft in the Carson funeral home. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
He was survived by a brother, Port, of Hawarden, and three sisters, Lucy Sheehan of Maquoketa, Elizabeth of Davenport and Mrs. Mary Snodgrass of Presho, S.D. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
