LORETTA J. ELLIS, age 76, of Mt. Olivet, Kentucky, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Robertson County Health Care Facility. Born in Milford, Kentucky, on September 12, 1938, to the late Willard and Harriet Cain Ashcraft, she was a family care home operator, member of Kentontown Christian Church and Piqua Homemakers and a former den mother for the Cub Scouts of America.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: her brother, Robert Ashcraft; and two sisters, Louise Brockley and Deloris White. She is survived by: two sons, Keith Ellis, of Robertson County, and Tom (Patti) Ellis, of Harrison County; three daughters, Amy Cox, of Robertson County, Emily (Richard) Kouns, of Georgetown, and Kendra (Chris) Gooden, of Robertson County; a brother, Kenneth Ashcraft, of Harrison County; a sister, Ruby Lucas, of Alexandria; eight grandchildren; a great grandson; and a special sister-in-law, Nancy Ashcraft, of Milford.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Ed Applegate. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Bracken Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Robertson County Animal Shelter or the hospice organization of one's choice. Active pallbearers will be Darrell Moore, Jeff Cox, Richard Kouns, Chris Gooden, Clay Cox and Terry Cracraft.
