In Hamden, March 25, 2015 Ellen G. Lee 92, of Hamden. Wife of the late New Haven Mayor Richard C. Lee. Loving mother of Sarah "Sally" Lee, Mrs. Anthony (Tara) Delvecchio and David R. Lee. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Stacey E. Lee, Lindsey R. Lee, Elliot G. Lee, Zachary J. Croke and a great granddaughter Emma Lee Richter. She was predeceased by a brother Arthur L. Griffin. Ellen was born in Marion, MA April 22, 1922 daughter of the late Arthur E. and Hattie Long Griffin. Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years in the Public Relations Dept. of the Yale News Bureau.
