Joseph "Jay" Pinkney Morrow, age 65, of Claremont, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice in Newton.
Born July 22, 1949, he was the son of the late James Henry Morrow and Ethel Mae Quinn Morrow.
Jay was self-employed as a carpenter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James H. Morrow, Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Nate Morrow of Swannanoa, NC; stepdaughter, Deana Kinman; 3 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday (today), May 30, 2015 at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.
