Mrs. Sara Ann Daulton, 57, died at her home in Elihu Thursday following an illness of several months. Mrs. Daulton was born in this county on July 26, 1895, and was the daughter of Jackson and Mary Romer. Her husband, Booker Daulton, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Daulton professed her faith in Christ at an early age and united with the Zion Church at Elihu. She possessed a friendly manner and a winning personality that won for her many friends wherever she went. Her many acts of Christian charity will serve as a fitting monument to her memory.

Survivors include one son, Claude Edward Daulton of Elihu; two sisters, Mrs. Amos Jones and Miss Lou Rome, both of Elihu; two brothers, Bud Rome of Elihu and Elph Rome of St. Louis, Mo.; and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Zion Church Friday and burial was in the Love Cemetery.
