Death of Mrs. C.E. Thompson
Mrs. C.E. Thompson, a niece of Elverett Greet of this city, died last Saturday at her home in Cushing, Ok., from the effects of pneumonia. She is survived by her husband and one child. Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Botts and was born and brew to young womanhood at the home of her parents west of this city. She continued to reside in this city after her marriage, her husband being employed at the Petroleum Products company refinery for some time. At the present time he is employed at a refinery in Cushing. The remains were brought to this city this morning over the Santa Fe. The funeral took place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the residence of Elverett Greer, 1120 West Myrtle street. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.L. Pettit of the First Christian church.
