Thomas E. Shannahan , 68, of 111 Arnold St., president of Hilltop Enterprises, Central Falls, for more than 40 years, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Helen (Siekiera) Shannahan .
Born in Ikamatua, New Zealand, a son of the late Thomas M. and Mary (O'Malley) Shannahan , he lived in Central Falls before moving to Lincoln 3 4years ago.
Mr. Shannahan served in the merchant marine in World War II.
Besides his wife he leaves five sons, Thomas J. and Paul J. Shannahan , both of Pawtucket, Robert J., Daniel J., Edward J. Shannahan , all of Lincoln, and five grandchildren.
The funeral was held Thursday from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd., with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude's Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
