Mrs. Abraham was active with the Hamilton Lake Association, Edon American Legion Auxiliary, Steuben Women's Club and the Hamilton Extension Homemakers.
Galia M. Abraham was born on April 12, 1916, in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of Herbert and Myrtle (Martin) Kaufman.
She married Dr. Max C. Abraham, D.V.M. on June 10, 1937, in East Lansing, Michigan, and he preceded her in death on October 4, 1997.
Surviving are one son, Ronald (Carol Jean) Abraham, of Westerville, Ohio, one daughter, Carolyn (Edwin) Kaltenbach, of Lynden, Washington, two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a half sister, Mary Maxwell, of Tavernier, Florida.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio. Services will follow at 1:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon.
Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier, Ohio.
