Raymond Lester Daniels, 88, of Kansas City, Missouri died on May 28, 2015 at his home. He was born on December 30, 1926, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Cordell and Louise Daniels. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Loretta Penyweit; brother, Gentry Daniels; grandson, Maurice; granddaughters, Melanie and Mignon; and sons, Anthony and Bobby. He attended school in and graduated from the Kansas City School District. He was employed at GSA for over thirty years, as an Order Entry Operator and Processor. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church for over twenty years. He is survived by his wife, four daughters, six sons, five brothers, three sisters, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. June 6, 2015 at New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, 2701 East 43rd Street, Kansas City, Missouri, where he was a member. Interment: June 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Arrangements: Lawrence A. Jones & Sons.
