TAUNTON - Christopher Paul Rose, son of Donald P. and Olivia (Caras) Rose, died at the Maine General Medical Center, in Augusta, Maine, on May 30, 2015.
He was 48.

Born in Taunton and raised in Raynham, he was a graduate of Coyle and Cassidy High School, and attended Johnson State College, VT. Christopher was employed as a CNA for various nursing homes, most recently at the Veteran’s Nursing Home in Augusta, ME.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his partner, Donald Cooper of Winthrop, ME; his brother, Donald Rose and his wife Chrissy of Ohio; his niece, Gabriella Rose of Ohio; his nephew, Nicholas Rose and his wife Carolyn of Alabama; his great-niece, Charlotte Rose of Alabama; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, June 6th at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 5th from 4 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Drive, Natick, MA 01760 or to Friends of the Taunton Animal Care Facility, 821 West Water Street, Taunton, MA 02780.
