Born in Colonie, Carol was the daughter of the late Henry and Carolyn Smith Zelker.
Carol was a homemaker her passion and success in life was to make a warm and loving home for her family, raise her three wonderful and caring children and to be the best friend to her husband Jim.
She was a passionate crocheter and enjoyed her flowers and garden. Carol worked for the CVS in Woodlawn for 10 years.
She was an avid cook and was known for her home made baked goods which she shared with family and friends.
Carol was predeceased by her brothers, Henry Zelker, Robert Zelker and sister, Lois Zarch.
Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
