Alma May Amos, 87, of Hagerstown, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Sept. 11, 1920, in Carlisle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Naomi Pogue Etter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Alexander Amos.

She was a 1938 graduate of Hagerstown High School.

She worked at Joe the Motorist's Friend in Hagerstown.

She was a member of Park Road Bible Church in Hagerstown.

She is survived by
one daughter, Carol L. Ebersole of Hagerstown;
one brother, Jack L. Etter of Jarrettsville, Md.;
one granddaughter;
two great-grandchildren;
nieces; and nephews.

She was preceded in death by
one sister, Armatha Etter; and
five brothers,
Ralph Etter,
Ellsworth Etter,
Eugene Etter,
Roy Etter and
Larry Etter.

A memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Park Road Bible Church in Hagerstown. Pastor Ron Key will officiate.

A private burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cedar Ridge Ministries, P.O. Box 439, Williamsport, MD 21795.
