Lewallen Gilliam Cleveland, was born June 14, 1825, n Habersham, Georgia. He was the son of William Cleveland and Isabella,Eba Morris.

He was a CSA/Field and Staff Commissary, 1st Battalion Cavalry, 1st Division, MO State Guard. He was a farmer, a Baptist, and Master Mason. His widow Mary E Cleveland was the beneficiary on his Confederate Civil War, Pension.

He was married five times and had five sons and seven daughters.
1. He married Jane Eliza (Brodie) Cleveland, May 13, 1847. His wife Jane Eliza passed away on April 14, 1856, in White Rock, Missouri, at the age of 23. They had been married 8 years. (4 children)
