JOHN RUSUNEN
John Rusunen, 88 of Hot Springs, Mont., died Sunday in Plains, Mont.
He was born in Finland May 12, 1899.
He came to the United States with his parents at the age of 2 and lived in the Daggett area as a child.
He was a retired carpenter.
He married the former Lillie Werner.
She survives, along with three sons, Russell of Aloha, Ore., Robert of Vancouver, Wash., and John of New York; two brothers, Arnold of Daggett and William of Iron Mountain; three sisters, Astrid Schumacher of Hermansville, Lempi Henderson of Dinah Point, Calif., and Olga Wind of Verna Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Four sisters and a brother died previously.
Friends may call at Sorenson Funeral Home, Daggett, from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The Rev. William Brandner will officiate.
Burial will be in the Daggett Finnish Cemetery.
John's first marriage was to Eloise Kingston Feb. 2, 1941.(They divorced)
She was born July 22, 1917 and died Dec. 24, 2011.
