Jeanne E. Fenton, 92, of Burlington died at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Great River Medical Center.
Born February 4, 1923 in Parker, South Dakota, she was the daughter of Carl and Mary (Guebther) Wright. She married Oscar Frederick Fenton and they later divorced.
Ms. Fenton was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. She was an administrative assistant for Community Action and North Hill Elementary School.
Ms. Fenton was a member of Parkside First Baptist Church and Burlington Professional Women. She served as a deaconess at church and loved her church activities. She also enjoyed listening to music, traveling and entertaining.
Survivors include two sons, seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Dennis Fenton and Larry Fenton in infancy.
