Our mother Lonnie Jo Baker passed into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
She was born in Redondo Beach, CA on December 19, 1933, the daughter of the late Varda and Coy Dunn. She graduated from Redondo Beach High School. She met and married her husband, Bobby O. Baker in 1951. She enjoyed all type of crafts and cooking. She was the most happiest being grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby O. Baker; daughter, JoAnn Baker Caliguri; son, Bobby O. Baker, II; granddaughter, Courtney (Felipe) Chacon; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Annissa, Alyssa and Brandan and nephew, Steve Lewis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Robert Charles Dunn; sisters, Bette Lewis and Ruth Kramer.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 250 Williams Street, Atlanta, GA 30303.
