YORK Patrick H. "Patch" Stevenson, 59, passed away a 7:16 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at his residence after a courageous bout with cancer. He was the companion of Mary E. Miller for 11 years. Born on July 17, 1955, in York, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Johanna C. (O'Brien) Stevenson, Sr. Mr. Stevenson graduated from York Catholic High School. He was a self- employed owner Long distance truck driver for Paul Miller Trucking of Spring Grove. He was also a avid Steelers fan and a avid fisherman. In addition to his companion, he is survived by a sister, Lorraine Herr of Dover; caregivers, Luann Gembe and Toby Fuller and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his dogs, Harley Blue and Gizzie Lu. Mr. Stevenson was preceded in death by a son, Patrick H. Stevenson, Jr.; two sisters, Loretta and Mary Lou and a brother, Robert A. Stevenson, Jr. Funeral services and burial will be private at the conviences of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Cancer Society , 924N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
