Lucille Adams 83 of Richmond died Sunday May 31, 2015 at her home after a long illness. She was born January 31, 1932 in Littcarn, Kentucky to Melvin and Corsie Collins Amburgey and lived here most of her life.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading books and working puzzles. She loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include three children Coy (Pam) Adams of Greens Fork, Roy (Sheila) Adams of Greens Fork, and Sandy Jackson of Richmond, seven grandchildren Lisa Jackson (Karen Dorr), Adrianna Adams, Coy Lee Adams (Sarah Grubbs), Brandon Winters (Kara Messler), Geno Adams, Genna (Ryan) Smith, Kristy Abner, ten great grandchildren Logan, Gage, Blane, Bradley, Luke, Hunter, Maddie, Jackson, David, Derrick, one great-great grandchild Kaysen Medlock, one sister Anita Amburgey of Centerville, nieces and nephews.

Her husband Coy Adams died in 1988, one daughter Connie Adams, her parents and other brothers and sisters are also deceased.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday June 4, 2015 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. John Shepherd officiating. Friends may call 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www.stegallberheideorr.com.
